Fingerprint No. 1
The Christian Bible is one of the most disputed books in the world, not because it is inaccurate, but because it is not believed. There are men and women who doubt the Bible and yet claim to be Christians, but without the Bible as their authority, they can have no claim to Christianity.
The first book of the Bible is even more disputed than all the rest put together. It is the book of our origins – Genesis -- in Hebrew b’rasheet. This is the very first word and means ‘in the beginning’.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1.
In Hebrew it is just seven words.
This verse speaks of the creation of our planet, its atmosphere, the sun and the moon, not the creation of the whole of the universe.
“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:1-3.
These verses give us a clue to the first fingerprint of God.
Can you see it?
It is the number seven.
In Bible numerics, seven represents completeness, the fullness of perfection, the end, and completion.
Throughout the Bible you will see seven mentioned many times, especially in the book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible. It reveals to the reader a sequence of prophetic sevens, showing that the end will come when the seventh church, seventh seal, seventh trumpet, seventh plague are fulfilled.
After God had created the world in six ‘twenty four hour’ days, He rested, not because He was tired, but that you and I might have an example of how to live.
He did not want us to work on and on without a break. He showed us that the week consists of six working days, with the seventh for rest.
In fact, He made it a law – the fourth of the Ten Commandments. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Exodus 20:8-11.
We can choose to forget the Sabbath.
But as the seven-day-week rolls around the earth, week after week, month after month, year after year, it repeats God’s holy words, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy… for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth…. and rested the seventh day….”
Did you know that the week of seven days has no other origin than the book of Genesis?
You can choose to have a twelve-day week, a fifteen-day week, or a twenty-day week, but nothing will change the fact that the week is seven days. There have been efforts to change it to ten days in France and Russia, but it has not worked.
God set the weekly cycle in motion and it continues to this day. In fact, it will continue for eternity.
The seven-day week is also a prophecy of how long God will allow this sinful world to exist before He steps in to destroy the works of man. It will last six thousand years, with the seventh for the earth to rest from its long years of abuse.
(You might say we have already passed six thousand years, and it appears to be true, but it is not. The count refers to the sinfulness of mankind, beginning with Adam’s sin in Eden. We do not know how long Adam and Eve lived happily in the garden before they ate of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but based on the death of Jesus in AD31, it is probably not longer than thirty years)
EARTH’S GREAT WEEK OF TIME

Where are we living today in God’s great week of time?
Bible prophecy tells us we are almost at the end of day six. When God finishes His counting, Jesus Christ will split the heavens and return to this earth. He will come in power and glory to take His children home to glory.
The seventh-thousandth year is for the earth to rest. It will lie fallow with no man to tend it.
The Bible says “… as long as she (the land) lay desolate she kept sabbath…” 2 Chronicles 36:21.
The number seven is represented in Hebrew by the letter z (zayin), meaning a ‘weapon’.
We will now look at how the number seven is embedded within the words of Scripture.
Our first example is Genesis 1:1. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Here is the Hebrew again.
The verse contains exactly seven Hebrew words.
These seven words have 28 letters or 4 – 7s.
The sentence divides into two parts. The first three words, which are the subject, “In the beginning God created” have 14 letters or 2 –7s.
The other four words, which are the object, “the heaven and the earth” have 14 letters or 2 –7s.
The second half divides equally in two parts “the heaven” and “the earth”, both having 14 letters or 2 – 7s.
The three nouns: “God”, “heaven”, “earth” have 14 letters or 2 – 7s.
There is another way we can see the occurrence of the number 7, and this is in the gematria. It is the numerical value of the total letters in each word. (Both the Hebrew and Greek letters have numerical value, as does the Latin)
The three nouns: “God”, “heaven”, and “earth”, have a numeric value (or a gematria) of 777 or 111 – 7s.
The verb “created” has a numeric value of 203 or 20 – 7s.
The value of the first and last letters of the verse is 497 or 71 – 7s.
The value of the first and last letters of each of the words between is 896 or 128 – 7s.
The numeric value of the first and last letters of the whole seven words is 1,393 or 199 – 7s.
This is not the fullness of how the number seven is woven into the words of this verse, but it is enough to show that God has miraculously put His fingerprint there. Understand also, that not every verse reveals the number seven, but the words of Genesis 1:1, being profound in their simplicity, are an obvious place for God to begin to embed His signature of perfect completeness.
This was first discovered at the end of the 19th century by Russian mathematician Dr Ivan Panin, not just with Genesis, but throughout the whole Bible. After many years of investigation he said the Bible could not possibly have been written except by inspiration of God Himself. (Dr Panin was born in 1855 and immigrated to the United States)
The subject was investigated by the Nobel Research Foundation of USA who gave the following verdict. “So far as our investigation has proceeded, we find the evidence overwhelming in favour of such a statement.” The Seal of God. F.C. Payne. p100.
Sir Ambrose Fleming D.Sc., F.R.S., the great scientist of the early 1900s and inventor of the thermionic valve, when President of the Victoria Institute of Scientists, opened its session with a paper entitled ‘Number in Nature and the Bible’, indicating a common origin in a supreme intelligence. His object was to show that this ‘common pattern’ pervades the Bible, just as it does creation. Ibid.
Dr Panin revealed amazing links, not just in the verses, but with verses and chapters, even between books and authors.
This meant each writer would need to know the exact words of all the 26 named writers in the Bible. Only then could he begin writing his own book. But they lived 1500 years apart, and most of the writers did not even see the scrolls of the other prophets, even those living during the same age. In other words, each book would have had to be written last, which is of course impossible.
There is only one answer. Men did not write the Bible.
Bible students have always known this, for God said through Peter, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (Spirit).” 2 Peter 1:21.
King David said, “The spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.” 2 Samuel 23:2.
Paul the apostle wrote, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16.17.
We must assume that a Power higher than man guided the writers, whether they knew it or not. Of course numbers can be manipulated, but when you put it all together, there is clearly something miraculous below the surface of the Bible.
The design is complex, and we can be thankful that the computer-age is bringing more to light.
Remember, we are speaking of the original words, both in Hebrew and Greek, and not the many translations available in English today. These often have false readings that totally confuse the reader, and all are based on corrupt texts.
The most valuable Bible was translated from reliable manuscripts (known as the Textus Receptus or Majority Text) in 1611 by King James 1 of England. The King James Version is not perfect, but it is the most accurate English Bible available.
(Other language Bibles must be checked to see their source. Luther based his German Bible mainly on the Textus Receptus and the work of Erasmus, although he did consult the corrupt Latin Vulgate. This was natural, as he was a Roman Catholic. Other language Bibles are translated solely from the Latin Vulgate, the Sinaiticus and the Vaticanus, all from the same source)
The Jews have preserved the sacred Scriptures for 3500 years, a precious heritage. The most ancient Hebrew scroll extant (in existence) was 1000 years old, until in 1947 and 1956 the Dead Sea scrolls were found in Qumran. This revealed scrolls a thousand years older, from approximately 100BC, and possibly earlier.
Every book of the Bible was found, except Esther. There were also 25 Deuteronomy scrolls, 30 Psalm scrolls, plus commentaries, hymns, benedictions, laws, war conduct, wisdom writings.
God not only preserved a complete Isaiah scroll, but fifteen of them! (Below is the most precious, called the ‘golden scroll’)
Scholars anxiously compared the Isaiah scroll with the Hebrew Masoretic text of today, and with joy discovered it to be almost word for word. The only discrepancies are a few instances of spelling, and one three-letter word, making no difference to the meaning of the text.
So if you are reading a Masoretic Bible in Hebrew or a King James Bible in English, you can feel confident that it is the same as when it was first written. There have been no changes. The Bible is the true history of this world and the Jewish people. It is a powerful weapon that will defeat atheistic evolution.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12.
More Number Fingerprints
Every number used in the Bible represents very specific things. Ten represents God’s Law or ordinal perfection. Four represents this earth – north, south, east, and west. Five represents God’s free gift of grace; six man in sin; two witness or confirmation; eight a new beginning; nine finality or judgment; twelve perfect government or the kingdom of God; thirteen sin, rebellion and demonic influence; forty probationary testing time and so forth. (This is not the same as Numerology, which is Satanic)
These numbers with their significance apply right through the Bible, and have been followed for many years with keen interest by students of Scripture.
To give another example of how God has used numbers in the Scriptures, we will look at the number eight, this time in the words of the Scripture themselves. Eight represents resurrection or a new beginning.
How many people were saved in the ark of Noah? Eight people. God wanted many more to come on board, but he used those who were willing, to represent a new beginning, death to the old world and life in the new.
Every male child was circumcised on the eighth day. Why this day? It has since been discovered that the body manufactures vitamin K to its peak at this time of a male’s life, the natural means of coagulating the blood.
Jesus Christ rose from the grave on the eighth day. Yes, it was the first day of the week, but in Bible symbolism, it is seen also as the eighth day. He died on the 14th (2x7, seven meaning completion - of a perfect life), and rose on the 16th (5 x8, eight meaning resurrection - to life eternal). He ascended on the 40th day (5x8, eight meaning resurrection, and 40 a testing time for all who witnessed Jesus in His glorified life).
In the Greek, Jesus’ name is IESOUS. The gematria is 888 (that is, the total of the value of the letters in Greek), can be divided into 37 x 8 x 3. The number 37 is the number for divinity, 8 the number for resurrection, and 3 the number for divine perfection.
The names of Jesus have a gematria in multiples of eight
‘Jesus’ is 888 or 111 – 8s; 37 x 8 x 3, as well as 37 x 24.
(Jesus is the Son of David, and the gematria of David is 24)
Jesus’ title ‘The Christ’ has a gematria of 1480 or 185 - 8s, and 8 x 37 x 5.
(This speaks of the resurrected Christ 8 proclaiming His divinity 37, full of grace 5)
The name ‘Saviour’ is 1408 or 176 - 8s.
‘Lord’ is 800 or 100 – 8s.
‘Messiah’ is 656 or 82 – 8s.
‘The Truth’ is 64 or 8 – 8s.
If you combine ‘Jesus’ with ‘Christ’, the gematria is 2368 or 37 – 8 x 8.
(The figures say: the divine Word of God 37, the Resurrection 8, and the Life 8)
Jesus’ special title for Himself is ‘The Son of Man’. It has a gematria of 2960 or 37 x 2 x 5 x 8. (These figures say: the Word of God 37, came to bear witness 2, of the Grace of God 5, by the Resurrection 8)
Colossians 1:15 says Christ is the “image of God”, the total of these words (the gematria) being 1369, which is 37 x 37, shows the divinity of the Father and the Son.
In Colossians 2:9, the Greek word used for Godhead (Theotes), meaning divinity, is used nowhere else. In this form its gematria is 592, or 37 x 2 x 8. (The Word is divine 37, the faithful Witness 2, and the first begotten of the dead 8)
The number 296 is the first number that can be divided equally by 37 and 8. The next time it is 592, which is the gematria of ‘theotes’, meaning Godhead or divinity. Next time it is 888, which is the gematria of ‘Jesus’. Two times later is 1480, which is the numerical value of ‘The Christ’. Three times later it is 2368, the numerical value of ‘Jesus the Christ’, and two times later it is 2960, the gematria of ‘The Son of Man’.
592 theotes (divine) (296 + 296 = 592)
888 Jesus (296 + 296 + 296 = 888)
1480 The Christ (296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 = 1480)
2368 Jesus the Christ (296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 = 2368)
2960 The Son of Man (296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 + 296 = 2960)
Isn’t this rather amazing?
Another example of God using a number to represent important messages is the number thirteen. The word ‘dragon’ has a gematria of 975 or 75 x13; ‘tempter’ 1053 or 81 x 13; ‘belial’ 78 or 6 x 13; ‘murderer’ 1820 or 140 x 13; ‘serpent’ 780 or 60 x 13.
These are all names used for Satan in the Bible.
Now let us look at the ancient ordinance of the Passover. A lamb was to be sacrificed on the 14th day, which would represent the sacrifice of Christ. He died on this very day fifteen centuries later.
Pasash is the Hebrew word for ‘Passover’. It has a numerical value of 148 or 37 x 4, representing the divine 37 sacrifice (of Christ as the Lamb of God), for the world 4.
The Passover lamb had to be selected on the 10th day. If you multiply 148 x 10, you get 1480, the gematria for ‘The Christ’. Paul wrote, “Christ our passover is sacrificed for us”. 1 Corinthians 5:7.
The number 1480 when added together totals 13, showing that Christ was made “sin for us, who knew no sin.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. The Father “laid on Him the iniquity of us all”. Isaiah 53:6.
Jesus gave His life for you dear Reader.
He said, “Behold I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in…” Revelation 3:20.
Will you give your life to Jesus?
d
Dalet
Dalet is the fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet (Aleph Bet) and it means a door, pathway, enter, lifting up, elevation, poor man. If you allow Jesus to enter your heart, he will lift you up and give you the riches of heaven.
Fingerprint No.2.
In Hebrew, the name of the Messiah is Yeshua. The name of Jesus in Hebrew can be spelt many ways, but Yeshua is the most common. It can also be Yeshu, Yishah, Yeshuah, and even Yohoshua, but this latter spelling is now the accepted form for Joshua.
The Bible uses all spellings, plus others that are a form of the name or a derivative of it. The spelling Yahshua is not used in the Bible, and never spelt this way by Messianic Jews.
Jesus Hebrew name is -- Yeshua
Only by searching the Scriptures can the Messiah be identified, but those who do with an open heart, will find Him.
More recently, Yacob Rambsel, a Messianic Jew, discovered the name of Yeshua hidden throughout the Bible in another hidden fingerprint of God. (His book ‘Yeshua – The Name of Jesus Revealed in the Old Testament’ available from Abe Books on the Internet)
To find this divine fingerprint, one needs the Bible on computer, as counting by hand would cause mistakes.
Mr Rambsel began with the first word of the Bible, b’raisheet, and counted from the second last character, the yod, going right to left. He counted 521 letters and found shin, the letter for ‘sh’. Then he counted another 521 letters and found the vav, which in this case is a vowel. Again he counted another 521 letters and found the letter of ayin. Together these letters make the name Yeshua. (The Hebrew letters do not come out)
He continued another 521 letters and found the first letter of another word, which after counting further resulted in yeshu yakhol, which means ‘Yeshua is able’.
What is Yeshua able to do? Create this world.
The New Testament makes it very clear that God created this world by Jesus, His only-begotten Son. “In the beginning was the Word (Christ)… He was in the world, and the world was made by him…” John 1:1.10. Colossians 1:16.
After creating this beautiful world – the birds, fish, animals and finally His masterpiece of creation, “the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.” Genesis 2:18.
Starting from the ayin in ‘I will make’, and counting 138 letters from left to right three times, spells yeshua.
Adam was made the head of the human race, but when he failed, Christ came to take his place as “the last Adam.” 1 Corinthians 15:45. This means that the first Adam is a type of Christ, clearly identified in the hidden letters.
When God created Eve, He “caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs… and the rib… made he a woman (Isha), and brought her to the man (Ish). And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh…” Genesis 2:21-23.
Beginning with the first lamed L in verse 23, and counting 43 letters left to right four times, spells l’yeshua, which means ‘to (or for) Yeshua’. Starting from the mem im in the words “deep sleep”, and counting every 49 letters from left to right, spells mashiach, meaning Messiah.
After their sin, “Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” Genesis 3:20. (It is so beautiful – Eve came from Adam, but all come forth from Eve. It cannot be the other way around. Even science recognised this fact)
From the last yod in the above verse, Mr Rambsel counted every 9th letter, from left to right and found the name Adonai, which means ‘Lord’. Then, starting from the first heh in the same verse, and counting every 7th letter, right to left, he found Yoshiah, which means ‘He will save’. This is another word for Yeshua.
Mary was told “and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21.
Example or how the words are found – Isaiah 7:14.15.
When God clothed Adam and Eve with the skin of sacrificed animals, He was giving a lesson in redemption. An innocent animal must die to represent the sacrifice Christ would make four thousand years later.
“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21.
The word for skin in Hebrew means ‘leather, skin, hide, light’, and counting every seventh letter from the ayin in the word skins, from right to left, spells Yeshua. This name has been used in the Scriptures over and over again for the word ‘salvation’.
Praise God, many Jewish Bible students are seeing that Yeshua is the Messiah.
In the fourth chapter of Genesis, Abel slays his brother Cain, and God says “thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” Genesis 4:9.10.
Counting from the mem in the word ‘blood’ every seventh letter from left to right, spells Machiach em’met, which means ‘Messiah the Truth’. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” John 14:6.
When Jesus stood before Pilate, he asked Christ the question, ‘What is truth?’ He did not wait for an answer, and little realised he was standing in the presence of the embodiment of truth, Yeshua ha Meshiach em’met.
When God had safely secured Noah and his family in the ark, after seven days, the rain began. “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the foundations of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.” Genesis 7:11.
Starting with the second tav of the verse, and counting every 130 letters from right to left, spells toshiyam, which means, ‘You will save them’. A derivative of this world is toshiya, which means ‘Salvation by God through a Man’ – the Man Yeshua.
The gematria of Yeshua is as follows:
The yod equals 10.
The shin equals 300.
The vav equals 6.
The ayin equals 70.
Total: 386.
When Abraham’s servant was looking for a bride for Isaac, he met Rebekah, of the whom the Bible says, “the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin…. And she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher…” Genesis 24:16. Beginning from the ayin f in ‘to the well’, and counting 386 letters, spells yeshua.
If you go in the opposite direction, counting the same spaces, it spells Yonah, a man mentioned by Jesus as a sign of His death. “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” Matthew 12:40.
Mr Rambsel has given many examples of Bible verses that reveal the hidden name of the Messiah – Yeshua. Others are Genesis 1:14; Psalm 22:14-17; Psalm 41:8; Micah 5:2; Zechariah 9:9; Zechariah 11:12, and so many more.
The Bible is the most incredible Book, inspired by the Spirit of God.
The truth is revealed in the words themselves, and we are very privileged to know it, but there are people who have not yet seen the truth.
Perhaps some need these extra details to understand the magnificence of the written Word of God. Imagine what it would mean for an orthodox Jew to discover the name Yeshua throughout the Scriptures!
Even the beautiful text of Isaiah reveals His name, hidden in the English, but not in the Hebrew. “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation (yeshua), he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels”. Isaiah 61:10.
Counting every 25 letters from the first letter of the Hebrew word for bridegroom, from left to right, spells Mashiach, which is the word for Messiah.
I must give you two more of Jacov Rambsel’s discoveries.
“And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes.” Leviticus 21:10.
Starting at the first heh (as the first letter, but not counted), and then counting every third letter from right to left spells hain dam yeshua, meaning ‘Behold, the blood of Yeshua’. (The only difference is that the mem is not a final mem, which it should be, however, it is still an M)
Another one. “An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.” Psalm 41:8.9.
Jacov says, “In verse eight there is a phrase, they plot evil - yach’shvu rah’ah.” p87. This is not apparent in the English, but fits well with the following verse.
Within these words the name Yeshua is hidden. Start at the first yod and count right to left, every second letter.
You will see yeshua.
Minus these four letters, the remaining letters spell chavrah, which means, an association, group, family, or an assembly, and Judas the betrayer was part of a group.
Just two more. First, Genesis 39:5. Starting with the third last yod and counting every 100th letter from left to right, spells yeshua.
This verse is speaking about Joseph, who was a type of Christ. He was sold by his brothers, but held no hard feelings. He was blessed by Potiphar, and finally was able to bless his brothers.
And again, in Genesis 41:40, where Joseph is put over the house of Pharoah, starting from the last yod and counting every 100th letter from right to left, spells yeshua. After His resurrection, Yeshua received back all power and authority He had relinquished when He took on human nature.
Another wonderful method of finding the hidden fingerprint of God is to see the words across and down, something like a crossword puzzle.
But to find these, you definitely need the Bible on computer without chapters or verses showing. It must also be in one continuous line, which after all, is the way it was first written. Punctuationandvowelswereonlyaddedlater. That is the way the Hebrew appeared, which was no problem to Jewish readers.
When Jesus returns, He will come in power and glory to take His children home. “And he hath on his vesture and on high thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:16.
Will you be ready to meet Him in glory?
Fingerprint No.3.
Another hidden print of God in the Bible relates to colours, discovered by a Ben-Gurion University professor. “A niggling curiosity about colours started the whole thing.... For many years I found myself idly wondering if the name value of colours mentioned in the Bible had any relationship to their wave frequency”, says Professor Haim Shore.
It seems an outrageous suggested to him. He asked himself, “Why would the Hebrew name for colours bear any relationship to the wave frequency of the colour itself?”
But he checked it out, and when he saw the results, said “I was stunned”, he said. “The Hebrew word for the colour actually matched the colour’s wave frequency”, Shore says. “How could that be?”
His method was simple. He took the Hebrew names of five colours that appear in the Bible red adom, yellow tzahov, green yerakon, blue tchele, and purple or magenta argaman, and calculated a numerical value for each word by adding the total value of the letters, with alef as one, bet as two etc.
He says this is not gematria, nor is it a ‘Bible Code’, however, his method of working out the value of the word is done in the same way as for gematria, but worked out differently.
Professor Shore said he simply attempted to work by as plain and non-technical means as possible. He wanted to “offer several quantitative analyses that demonstrate that major physical properties are probably reflected in the numerical values of Hebrew words.”
After finding the value of the words, he plotted them on a graph. The vertical axis charted the colours’ wave frequencies (which are scientifically established), while along the horizontal axis, the colour name value appeared.
“When it was complete, I was astonished”, he said.
He said he did not start out believing that within the Hebrew words lay an additional layer of information, hidden to us, which can be exposed by relating to numerical value of the word. “For many years I was utterly convinced all that was based on superstition, pure myth… But what I was seeing made me think twice….”
He continues, “Initially, I related to these incidents as curiosities, things that had no scientific basis. But over the years, I’ve come to see these coincidences evolve into something more… By 2006 I’d reached the conclusion that the number of instances I’d assembled had reached a critical mass, which justified putting some of it into print.”
While he was putting his calculations down, he said, “I didn’t plot anything at all until I had all the data. When I saw it, I was like a lion in a cage, pacing around. I couldn’t believe it. Then I went on to other words in the Hebrew Bible, plotting the value of the letters against known scientific data. The whole thing blew me away….
I began recording it all, and finally published it in a book which contains about 20 different analyses – statistical, scientifically verifiable findings. I have no intention of trying to tell anyone what this means, or how this information should be interpreted. All I did was publish what I found”, he said.
“As a scientist, as a matter of integrity, I felt compelled to offer what I’d found for discussion.”
He says his books offers dozens of incidents in which the Hebrew words in the Bible offer hidden information about the objects or people they represent, “information which, in many cases, couldn’t have been known or measured until modern times.”
Another aspect studied by Professor Shore was the Hebrews words for ‘sun’ shemesh, ‘moon’ yareah, and ‘earth’ eretz.
Professor Shore said, “One thing that distinguishes the three bodies is their size, expressed by the diameters. I used their diameters as listed by NASA, and plotted them on a graph, just as I did the colours.
On the horizontal axis is the numerical value of the Hebrew word, on the vertical axis is the planetary diameters from NASA (on a log scale).
To my astonishment, the phenomenon repeated itself. The three points aligned themselves on a straight line – an exact mathematical relationship would have given a linear correlation of ‘1’, whereas these three points had a linear correlation of 0.999. Again I thought, What an amazing coincidence!”
Another little gem he discovered was that the meaning of the word ‘ear’ ozen, comes from the same root as the Hebrew word for ‘balance’. It was only at the end of the 19th century that we discovered that the mechanism responsible for the body balance resides in the ear.
